Financial Strength
Insurance policies will be issued through Watford Insurance Company (NAIC 25585) or Watford Specialty Insurance Company (NAIC 15824). Each of WSIC and WIC carries an AM Best Financial Strength Rating of “A-” (Excellent), and through its Group affiliation with Somers Re is in Financial Size Category XII ($1 Billion to $1.25 Billion). In addition, each of WSIC and WIC is rated “A” by Kroll Bond Rating Agency, similarly as members of the Somers Group.
